Guests at the Bank Holiday Weekend extravaganza will be in for a treat with new additions to the line-up including Great British Bake-Off winner, Candice Brown and CHIC drummer, baker and soul food extraordinaire, Ralph Rolle.
Led by Cornish cookery school Philleigh Way, who run family dining experiences and supper clubs in the heart of beautiful Cornwall, Feast On The Farm is the perfect memory-making moment for those attending with their friends, families and loved ones. On the menu, guests can expect sharing platters of delicious Cornish charcuterie, mini pasties, Porthilly oysters with mignonette dressing; as well as main courses of Smoked striploin Cornish beef or a veggie option of Smoked squash with sage and roasted apple; all served with delicious sides. For dessert, a Cornish mess with wild gorse meringue, mead stewed fruit with Cornish rose & smoked honey served with Rodda’s clotted cream, will round off the beautiful feast.
As if that isn’t enough, The Big Feastival has also announced a very special 10th Anniversary Supper Club in aid of Magic Breakfast, a charity that provides children with a healthy breakfast. Exclusive to Friday 27th August, a stellar line-up of chefs will each bring their unique skills to the table and create their own special course. Details on how to join this delicious feast for a great cause, to be announced soon.
Returning for her second year, festival favourite and Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown will be taking to the stage, along with CHIC drummer, chef-patron and cookie-baker Ralph Rolle, who will be celebrating the southern roots and Bronx heritage of his New York-based Soul Snacks Café.
GBBO finalist and GQ food columnist Ruby Bhogal will be hosting this year’s Table Sessions, a unique and intimate forum where Big Feastival’s guests are given the chance to get up close and personal with some of their favourite chefs and industry insiders for Q&A talks and tastings.
Guests can now add a little extra luxury to their Big Feastival weekend by adding a pass for ‘The Miraval VIP Club’ to their ticket purchase. The exclusive lounge will be situated in the Main Arena and comes complete with a private bar, premium toilet facilities, covered seating area and views of the Main Stage from the dedicated garden area. A welcome drink from Miraval is also included.
