Temptingly smooth, buttery curds are an absolute joy to bake with. They can really pack a punch of flavour, lifting any recipe, and with so many different flavour combinations available now you can make your baked goods unique and extra special.
Raspberry curd is the perfect flavour profile to complement to freshly foraged, seasonal blackberries. Dark chocolate cupcakes filled with raspberry curd and topped with cream and blackberries are simply divine.
Curds also work well whipped into double cream for extra decadence in a cake topping. Try this with passion fruit curd and double cream, then top with sliced late apricots.
