Community Farmer Day – Planting the Shallots
23/04/2022 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
The ground is rapidly warming which means it’s time to start planting out and this week we’ll be getting those delicious shallots in the ground, and following last years success with the bio mulch, we’ll be using this again.
We’ll get the soup and bread in for a yummy lunch and invite you folks bring some goodies along to share too. While you’re here don’t forget to pop into our on-site Veg Shed and take home some of our gorgeous organic veggies.
Please note activities are subject to change.

Community Farmer Days
Throughout the spring, summer and autumn we hold one-day volunteer events called Community Farmer Days. These involve volunteers coming to help out in the fields. While volunteers actively participate in the work of the farm these events are intended to be sociable and fun too.
The Community Farm is in a beautiful setting, overlooking Chew Valley Lake. Adults and (supervised) children are welcome. Normally we start at 10am and finish by 4pm (or a little earlier).
